Professional

Graduate Students

  • The Helen and Frederick Gaige Fund provides support to herpetology graduate students for museum or laboratory study, travel, fieldwork, or any other activity that will effectively enhance their professional careers by contributing to the science of herpetology.

  • The Edward C. and Charlotte F. Raney Fund provides support to ichthyology graduate students for museums or laboratory study, travel, fieldwork, or any other activity that will effectively enhance their professional careers and their contributions to the science of ichthyology.

  • The Clark Hubbs' Student Travel Awards help defray travel expenses to participate in the annual meeting.

  • The John G. Lundberg and Lucinda McDade Dissertation Award in Comparative and Phylogenetic Ichthyology is presented annually to support the Ph.D. research of graduate students conducting original research advance knowledge of fish diversity and diversification.

Undergraduate and Graduate Students

  • The Cashner Student Award (formerly the Student Diversity and Inclusion Award) provides assistance to students from historically underrepresented minority groups.

  • The Tracy I. Storer Award recognize the best posters presented by student members at the annual meetings.

  • The Frederick H. Stoye Award recognize the most meritorious papers presented orally by student members at the annual meetings.
