Herpetology/Arachnology travel to Baja California

Join herpetologist Dr. Sara Ruane and arachnologist Dr. Lauren Esposito for 10 days of adventure in the heart of Baja California. Learn field techniques, proper handling, how to ID using keys. Possible herps include coachwhips, gopher snakes, rattlesnakes, desert iguanas, Bipes, banded geckos, leaf-toed geckos and many more... Other opportunities include small mammal trapping, arachnid hunting, tide pooling, beach combing for megalodon teeth, and exploring ancient middens. Plus time to catch some waves!

This course is geared towards adult participants (18+) with a love of the natural world looking for an experience of a lifetime.
