New ASIH Fund: Robert Cashner Student Assistance Fund

ASIH member Dr. Robert Charles Cashner passed away on July 1, 2018. In his honor, the Society has set up the Robert Cashner Student Assistance Fund. If you wish to contribute to this fund, please send checks to Douglas Martin, Treasurer ASIH, 1609 Lions Den, Leander, TX 78641. Please write the checks to ASIH. Also, please write "Bob Cashner Fund" on the note line of the check.

Indeed, the Society’s Mission Statement includes the following: The programs of the American Society of Ichthyologists and Herpetologists are part of a global effort to interpret, understand, and conserve the Earth's natural diversity and to contribute to the wise use of natural resources for the long-term benefit of humankind.
