The Department of Biological Sciences at Idaho State University is seeking applicants for a Ph.D. Research Assistantship. Research will focus on the phenotypic and genotypic diversity of native trout populations in the Intermountain West. Student will be working as part of a collaborative research team studying adaptive capacity and genomics in native trout populations. Selection contingent on final funding approval.
The salary is up to $23,000/yr plus tuition and fees. The start date is between August 2018 and January 2019.
MS in biological sciences or related field is required. Preference given to students with population genetics, genomics and bioinformatics experience.
